Write for us
Vibrant Civic Review welcomes pitches that make an aspect of civic life easier to understand, without turning an explainer into a party-political appeal or professional advice.
What to pitch
We are interested in clear, original proposals about public institutions, participation, elections, civic rights and responsibilities, and the language used in public debate. A strong pitch starts with a reader's real question, identifies the specific point that is often confused and explains what the piece will help readers see differently.
What to include
Send a short summary, the intended reader, the main point and a note on the material you would use to support factual claims. Tell us if the idea depends on a particular place or changing rules. We do not accept invented examples presented as real, unsupported claims or copy that hides advocacy behind neutral-sounding explanation.
How to propose it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete manuscript unless we have requested one.
